What you will do

• Support formulation and characterization of biotherapeutic drug products across therapeutic areas.
• Perform protein analytical techniques to guide formulation and process optimization.
• Assess biotherapeutic stability as a function of formulation and process.
• Support development candidate nomination and technology transfer activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and document experiments in an electronic lab notebook.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in biochemistry, biotechnology, chemical engineering, bioengineering, pharmaceutical sciences, or a related field with 4+ years of relevant hands-on experience, or a master’s degree with 3+ years of experience.
• Strong understanding of protein biotherapeutics, including stability and formulation challenges.
• Experience analyzing protein molecules using standard analytical or biophysical techniques.
• Knowledge of techniques such as DLS, SEC-MALS, batch MALS, circular dichroism, fluorescence, Amide I FTIR, DSC, and sub-visible particle analysis.
• Strong written and oral communication skills, organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects.
• Full-time, in-person work at the Bridgewater, New Jersey office is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with automated chromatography workstations such as AKTA FPLCs.
• Experience with multidimensional purification strategies.
• Scientific publications using the listed analytical and biophysical techniques.
