What you will do

• Support formulation and characterization efforts for biotherapeutic drug product discovery and development across various therapeutic areas.
• Perform protein analytical techniques to inform the optimization of formulation and process to support development candidate nomination.
• Apply standard procedures to assess biotherapeutic stability as a function of formulation and process.
• Facilitate tech transfer activities within a cross-functional team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, Bioengineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences or related field with 4+ years of experience, or a Master’s degree with 3+ years of experience.
• Solid understanding of protein biotherapeutics, specifically stability and formulation challenges.
• Hands-on experience analyzing protein molecules using standard analytical and/or biophysical techniques.
• Familiarity with experiment documentation using electronic lab notebooks.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience using automated chromatography workstations (e.g., AKTA FPLCs).
• Experience employing multi-dimensional purification strategies.
• A record of scientific publication employing protein characterization skills.
