IT Operations Analyst

TL;DR

IT Operations Analyst (System Engineering): Managing on-site IT infrastructure and device lifecycle for the Mexico City office with an accent on hardware provisioning and first-level support. Focus on automating device imaging, maintaining accurate asset inventories, and ensuring seamless Day 1 onboarding for new hires.

Location: Fully on-site in Mexico City (CDMX). Remote or hybrid arrangements are not available.

What you will do

• Image, configure, and deploy Windows laptops according to company standards.
• Manage the full lifecycle of IT assets, including tracking assignments and stock replenishment.
• Provide Level 1 support for password resets, account access, and basic hardware troubleshooting.
• Facilitate new hire onboarding by managing device pickup and initial software setup.
• Collaborate with the US-based IT team to maintain regional standards and escalate unresolved issues.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience in an IT support or operations role.
• Hands-on experience with Windows laptop imaging and OS deployment.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace, Zoom, Slack, and Jira.
• Must be based in Mexico City and available to work on-site daily.

Nice to have

• Experience with JumpCloud, NinjaOne, or JAMF.
• Basic understanding of networking principles (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English.
