What you will do

• Lead analysis of player behavior, monetization, and overall game health for high-profile franchises.
• Translate ambiguous design and product questions into clear analytical plans and actionable recommendations.
• Develop proxy metrics to measure player-experience goals such as pacing, challenge, friction, and agency.
• Combine telemetry, playtests, and surveys to evaluate if features are landing as intended.
• Build dashboards and analytical frameworks to support consistent decision-making across the organization.
• Communicate insights to designers, producers, product managers, and leadership.

Requirements

• 4+ years of analytics experience in the games industry, specifically in game development or live operations.
• 2+ years of experience working on a shipped game or a live service game.
• Strong SQL skills and experience working with large event-level behavioral gameplay datasets.
• Proven ability to turn raw gameplay data into clear insights and actionable recommendations.
• Background in statistics, mathematics, economics, computer science, or another applied quantitative discipline.
• Must be based in the United States (as indicated by benefits and compliance markers).

Nice to have

• Experience with Python, R, or statistical tooling for causal inference, forecasting, or behavioral modeling.
• Proficiency with BI tools such as Looker, Power BI, Tableau, or MicroStrategy.
• Familiarity with Git or other reproducible analysis workflows.
