Salary: £75,000 – £88,000 + 15% Bonus

What you will do
- Define and execute strategic physical security and fire management plans to ensure continuity of operations and legal compliance.
- Develop and implement physical security policies and processes aligned with ISO, NFPA, and BS standards.
- Serve as the lead Subject Matter Expert (SME) for physical security and fire management, advising the Board and Audit Committee.
- Manage governance for physical security operations, including CCTV, access control, and guarding contracts.
- Lead incident response and investigations for security or fire-related events, performing root cause analysis.
- Conduct risk assessments, audits, and gap analyses in liaison with insurers and regulatory bodies.
Requirements
- Extensive experience managing physical security in a UK organization, preferably within Critical National Infrastructure (CNI).
- Deep understanding of physical security systems (CCTV, access control, intrusion detection) and fire management systems.
- Strong knowledge of ISO 27001, ISO 22301, and other relevant industry standards.
- Proven track record in strategic planning, budgeting, and senior stakeholder engagement.
- Senior-level professional qualifications such as NEBOSH, IFE, or CSyP (or equivalent expertise).
