What you will do

• Research experimental methods for modeling tactical and future high-speed networks using EMANE or NS3.
• Use EMANE to provide AI/ML capabilities as a service for experimentation.
• Build, scale, and deploy applications in customized Kubernetes and Docker containers.
• Develop methods for incorporating physical-layer effects into EMANE experiments to improve emulation fidelity.
• Lead customer meetings and demonstrations of research and project status.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, physical science, computer science, information science, mathematics, or a related field.
• Six years of relevant research or technical experience, including three years of directly related project experience.
• At least two years of experience with EMANE or NS3.
• At least two years of experience deploying containerized applications with Kubernetes and Docker.
• Hands-on JIRA experience creating customized workflows and tracking project development.
• U.S. citizenship, an active U.S. Government security clearance, and DoD 8140 compliance with the required IAT I certification are required.

• Unix/Linux experience.
• Experience with CyberVAN and CORE.
• Experience debugging, integrating, and benchmarking virtual systems.
• Strong understanding of core network technologies and concepts.
• Project management, communication, leadership, and cross-department collaboration skills.
