What you will do

• Research experimental methods to model existing tactical and future high-speed networks using EMANE or NS3.
• Utilize EMANE to provide AI/ML capabilities as a service to support experimentation.
• Build, scale, and deploy applications within customized containers using Kubernetes and Docker.
• Develop methods to incorporate physical layer effects into EMANE experiments to increase fidelity.
• Lead meetings and administer demonstrations of current research and project status to customers.

Requirements

• BS degree in Engineering, Physical Science, Computer Science, Information Science, or Mathematics.
• 6 years of research or technical experience, with at least 3 years of directly related technical experience.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with EMANE or NS3.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with containerized application deployment using Kubernetes and Docker.
• Hands-on experience using JIRA to create customized workflows and track project development.
• U.S. Citizenship and an active US Government issued Security clearance.
• DoD 8140 compliance and maintenance of required certification for IAT I Level.

Nice to have

• Experience with Unix/Linux.
• Experience with Cyber Virtual Ad Hoc Network (CyberVAN) and Common Open Research Emulator (CORE).
• Experience debugging, integrating, and benchmarking virtual systems.
• Strong understanding of core network technologies and concepts.
