What you will do
- Develop, maintain, and analyse detailed project and programme schedules aligned with delivery requirements.
- Partner with Project Managers, engineering teams, subcontractors, and customers to reflect progress and commitments accurately.
- Identify schedule risks, analyse performance, and recommend recovery strategies and actions to improve project outcomes.
- Apply Critical Path Analysis, Earned Value Management, PERT, schedule risk analysis, forecasting, and project controls techniques.
- Support reporting packs, executive updates, customer schedule reviews, change orders, contractual discussions, and extension-of-time claims.
- Coach Project Managers and contribute to improved scheduling standards, templates, and PMO processes.
Requirements
- Significant experience delivering complex engineering, automation, construction, manufacturing, oil and gas, or industrial projects.
- Previous experience as a Project Manager, Senior Project Manager, Programme Manager, Project Controls Manager, Lead Planner, or Senior Scheduler.
- Experience owning and managing large, complex project or programme schedules.
- Extensive experience using Microsoft Project and Project Server.
- Experience with Earned Value Management, Critical Path Analysis, schedule recovery planning, and forecasting.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.
Nice to have
- Engineering or scientific background.
- Experience in warehouse automation, intralogistics, material handling, construction, manufacturing, or process industries.
- PMP, PMI-SP, APM PMQ, APM Planning & Controls, or an equivalent qualification.
- Experience supporting contractual claims, change management, and extension-of-time assessments.
