Investment Analyst: Structured Securities

TL;DR

Investment Analyst (Structured Securities): Conducting credit research on securitized products including RMBS, CLOs, and residential mortgage-related investments with an accent on forward-looking opinions, financial modeling, and relative value analysis. Focus on performing cashflow analysis, analyzing deal structures and collateral, and influencing tactical and strategic portfolio positioning.

Required to work onsite in Conshohocken office (Pennsylvania) at least three days each week.

Base Salary Range - $95,000-$100,000

What you will do

• Conduct credit research in securitized product sectors, focusing on RMBS, CLOs, and residential mortgage-related investments.
• Develop financial models for credit research, portfolio surveillance, and relative value analysis.
• Perform cashflow analysis, analyze deal structures, and conduct collateral analysis for relative value.
• Present forward-looking opinions on investments and sectors to the team.
• Build relationships with dealers and market participants.
• Automate reports and analysis, stay current with market trends, and influence portfolio positioning.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Economics preferred.
• 3-5 years of investment experience preferred.
• Proven analytical, quantitative, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent oral, written communication, and presentation skills.
• Knowledge of Bloomberg required; advanced Excel skills.
• Experience in a trading floor environment, ability to handle multiple tasks.
