What you will do

• Investigate new modeling and optimization technologies from industry and academia and integrate them into software applications.
• Provide technical leadership for projects involving mathematical modeling and optimization.
• Design, develop, maintain, and support engineering software applications.
• Contribute to technical and functional design sessions and deliver creative solutions to technology challenges.
• Participate in maintenance and enhancement of existing codebases.
• Provide technical support to product management, marketing, services, and customer support.

Requirements

• BS in Chemical Engineering, Mathematics, or related fields (Master's helpful, PhD preferred).
• 5-8 years experience developing software for modeling, control, and optimization in chemicals, oil & gas, or refining processes.
• Strong background in numerical methods, mathematical modeling, and optimization.
• Solid programming experience in C#/.NET (C++ a plus).
• English fluency (written and verbal) required.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, writing, and presentation skills.
