What you will do

• Design, develop, maintain, and support software features in the MSC suite.
• Provide technical leadership for projects involving mathematical modeling and optimization.
• Collaborate with Product Management to define feature requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Translate refinery, petrochemical, and supply chain workflows into practical software solutions.
• Participate in SAFe Agile events like PI Planning, Backlog Refinement, and System Demos.
• Improve product usability through iterative feedback and support maintenance of the codebase.

Requirements

• BS or MS in Chemical Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science or related fields (advanced degree preferable).
• 5-8 years of experience with SAFe Agile or similar Agile frameworks.
• Strong background in numerical methods, mathematical modeling, and optimization.
• Solid programming experience in C#/.NET (C++ is a plus).
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, writing, and presentation skills.

Nice to have

• Experience developing software for modeling, control, and optimization in chemicals, oil & gas, or refining.
• Understanding of refinery, petrochemical, or chemical processes including planning, scheduling, supply chain workflows.
