What you will do

• Lead the Fraud Analytics team, balancing people management (70%) with hands-on analysis (30%).
• Own and optimize fraud management strategies throughout the customer lifecycle and across multiple products.
• Assess the performance of existing fraud rules and implement strategic improvements.
• Identify and onboard new data sources to improve risk prediction.
• Execute bespoke analytical work for product launches and customer experience enhancements.
• Present findings and strategic recommendations to the senior leadership team.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of fraud experience, specifically in card fraud within a bank, card issuer, or fintech.
• Expertise in conducting complex analysis using SQL.
• Proven track record of owning analytical problems end-to-end from framing to deployment.
• Experience managing analysts and a commitment to professional development.
• Strong understanding of the UK fraud landscape, including regulatory trends.
• Exceptional communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience with APP fraud or faster payment fraud systems.
• Familiarity with Visa fraud platforms, CNP fraud, 3DS/SCA, and PSD2 compliance.
