Textile Engineer

Location: Bekasi, West Java; willing to be located in Cikarang

What you will do

• Evaluate fabric aesthetics, manufacturability, and suitability for costume applications based on design requirements.
• Recommend fabrics that meet aesthetic, quality, safety, reliability, manufacturability, and cost requirements.
• Collaborate with vendors on fabric development, specifications, and project alignment.
• Provide technical fabric information and recommendations to the Design Team.
• Review and approve fabrics and trims for production while coordinating fabric-related activities through development and production.
• Conduct onsite factory approvals and communicate with internal teams, vendors, and overseas stakeholders.

Requirements

• Degree in textile technology or an equivalent qualification.
• At least 2 years of experience or formal training in textile technology or garment manufacturing.
• Familiarity with textile manufacturing processes and sensitivity to fashion design aesthetics.
• Good written and spoken English communication skills.
• General computer skills, including Excel and Word.
• Willingness to be located in Cikarang.
