• Set daily and long-term editorial priorities to ensure CNBC is first and distinctive on major economic stories.
• Edit and shape breaking news, explainers, analysis, and exclusive sourced reporting.
• Collaborate with politics, policy, and markets teams to deliver coordinated and authoritative coverage.
• Translate complex macroeconomic developments into clear, compelling journalism for a broad audience.
• Drive innovative storytelling across digital, television, and emerging social platforms.

Requirements

• Significant editing experience in a major newsroom with leadership responsibility.
• Deep subject-matter expertise in the Federal Reserve and U.S. macroeconomic trends.
• Proven track record of managing breaking news, analytical coverage, and enterprise projects.
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States.
