What you will do

• Identify and report original stories across innovation, design, culture, and business priorities.
• Set the editorial standard for company narratives as the most senior writer on the team.
• Partner with the Chief Communications Officer to translate strategic priorities into clear storytelling.
• Create content supporting executive messaging for both internal and external channels.
• Manage and scale content output through freelance writers and creative partners.
• Guide leaders and teams across the organization to improve their storytelling capabilities.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in journalism, reporting, or editorial roles within a newsroom or media organization.
• Proven track record of producing original reporting rather than editing or repackaging existing content.
• Experience covering business strategy, product innovation, or design.
• Ability to work directly with senior executives to shape high-stakes messaging.
• Must be based in or able to work hybrid from Needham, MA or New York City.
