Director, FP&A (SaaS)

TL;DR

Director, FP&A (SaaS): Managing the FP&A function to accelerate the Go-to-Market engine and oversee corporate financial planning with an accent on GTM metrics, ARR forecasting, and ROI analysis. Focus on building robust financial models, optimizing business economics, and influencing C-level strategic decisions to scale the company toward $100M+ ARR.

Location: Hybrid (Sunnyvale, CA). Team presence in office required 2–3 days per week.

Salary: $275,000–$310,000 USD OTE

What you will do

• Partner with GTM leaders (Sales, Marketing, CS, RevOps) to drive financial planning and sales compensation strategies.
• Develop a GTM reporting suite tracking ARR forecasting, consumption metrics, GRR, NRR, CAC, and pipeline conversion.
• Lead the annual operating plan (AOP) and quarterly reforecasting processes for the entire organization.
• Evaluate ROI on company investments, including marketing programs, product developments, and AI initiatives.
• Prepare high-quality financial decks and narratives for executive leadership and board meetings.
• Improve financial systems and RevOps data integrity to establish a single source of truth.

Requirements

• 10+ years of progressive FP&A experience, with at least 3 years in a management position.
• Deep expertise in B2B Software companies using License, SaaS, and Consumption/usage-based models.
• Advanced Excel financial modeling skills and proficiency in SQL or BI tools such as Tableau or Looker.
• Seasoned expertise in Salesforce and complex sales processes.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics; MBA or CPA preferred.
• No new H-1B visa sponsorship available for new hires; extensions or changes of employer are considered.
