What you will do

• Develop and implement a technology strategy aligned with business goals and long-term strategic vision.
• Oversee the full engineering lifecycle and provide leadership to global teams, including software, QA, and AI/ML engineers.
• Own the transition from AI-assisted to AI-native development practices and establish relevant tooling standards.
• Lead platform development for AI, ensuring scalable LLM API capabilities, data pipelines, and vector databases.
• Manage engineering budgets, resource forecasting, and vendor/partner relationships.
• Collaborate with executive leadership to align business, product, and engineering priorities.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States.
• 15+ years of experience in engineering leadership managing large SaaS or cloud-native organizations.
• Proven track record of building and scaling global engineering teams of 50+ engineers.
• Hands-on experience building and scaling production machine learning or Generative AI systems.
• Strong expertise in SDLC, agile methodologies, DevOps, microservices, and distributed systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science (Master's preferred).

Nice to have

• Experience with GenAI/LLM technologies (GPT, Llama), RAG, LangChain, or LangSmith.
• Proficiency with AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Experience in private equity-backed companies or rapid growth environments.
• Understanding of CX assurance, customer journey monitoring, or chatbot testing.
