What you will do

• Develop and fabricate novel biomedical materials from lab-scale through to manufacturing scale-up.
• Design and implement Design of Experiments (DOEs) and Risk Management documentation to validate products.
• Perform polymer synthesis, processing, and characterization using techniques such as DSC, TGA, and Rheology.
• Generate Device Master Record documentation, including process routers and drawings, in accordance with GMP.
• Identify and implement improvements to enhance the productivity, efficiency, and reliability of existing processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate research findings into scalable, market-ready medical solutions.

Requirements

• Ph.D., Master's, or Bachelor's degree in polymer science and engineering or a relevant field.
• Proficiency in polymer synthesis and processing techniques (extrusion, injection molding, film casting).
• Experience with analytical techniques including DSC, TGA, TMA, Rheology, FTIR, GPC, and HPLC.
• Knowledge of Engineering and Quality tools such as Statistics, Six Sigma, DFM, and DOE.
• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Exton, PA.
• Understanding of human anatomy and surgical procedures.
