What you will do

• Design and deliver Go-based solutions to improve compute infrastructure availability, scalability, and latency.
• Develop Kubernetes controllers and operators for cluster management and workload scheduling.
• Build core tooling and SDKs for network configurations and compute capacity tracking.
• Optimize intra-cluster performance using reactive schedulers and node-level characterization.
• Collaborate organization-wide to automate development workflows and infrastructure operations.
• Participate in an on-call rotation to maintain stability of global-scale systems.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in internet-scale software, infrastructure, and distributed systems.
• Proficiency in Go and a track record of managing Kubernetes services at scale.
• Expertise in Linux internals, including multi-tenancy primitives like cgroups and namespaces.
• Active contribution to the open-source community, ideally within the CNCF or infrastructure domain.
• Ability to manage large projects and troubleshoot complex cross-system issues independently.
• Must be based in the United States.
