Acquisition Specialist (Federal Acquisition)

Acquisition Specialist (Federal Acquisition): Providing comprehensive acquisition, contract, and performance management support for the Defense Health Agency with an accent on DoD acquisition policies and compliance. Focus on developing acquisition strategies, managing complex contract documentation, and ensuring adherence to the Adaptive Acquisition Framework (AAF).

Location: Hybrid; Must be able to report to the DHA office in Falls Church, VA as needed

What you will do

• Manage contracts and financial processes using iRAPT and PIEE/WAWF in compliance with FAR and DFARS.
• Process and track Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs) within the Deliverable Tracking System.
• Analyze acquisition strategies and conduct market analysis to support organizational decision-making.
• Prepare detailed acquisition packages, including Performance Work Statements (PWS), Acquisition Plans, and Pricing Sheets.
• Develop documentation for Commercial Solutions Openings (CSO) and Other Transaction Authority (OTA).
• Facilitate stakeholder meetings to communicate task-related risks and implement mitigation strategies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.
• 2+ years of budget management and acquisitions experience.
• 3-5 years of experience interpreting Adaptive Acquisition Framework (AAF) policies and DoD 5000 series.
• Must be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
• Hybrid availability for the Falls Church, VA office.
• Strong technical writing and professional communication skills.
