Salary: $186,000 - $223,000 a year

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain core services within the data platform.
• Build and maintain a lakehouse providing clean, accurate data sets for reporting, analytics, and ML.
• Enhance data pipelines and database management frameworks, focusing on automation, monitoring, and cost optimization.
• Develop observability systems for system and data quality monitoring.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with BI, Product Data Engineering, Data Science, and AI teams.
• Participate in on-call rotations to ensure high system reliability and smooth operations.

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional industry experience.
• Experience building and automating tools and frameworks for data platforms to streamline pipeline development.
• Strong expertise in data modeling for diverse sources and business processes.
• Proficiency in Python, Go, Scala, or Java.
• Experience with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, or Azure) and DevOps tooling (Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform).
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Nice to have

• Exposure to ML Ops or specific data engineering workloads.
• Experience with Kafka, PubSub, Dataflow, Redshift, BigQuery, Databricks, dbt, or Looker.
