What you will do

• Drive end-to-end ownership of features for the Data Integration platform, from design to production deployment and monitoring.
• Develop and maintain high-performance backend services using Java within a cloud-native microservices architecture.
• Build scalable data pipelines, APIs, and integration workflows to move and transform data across cloud environments.
• Implement rigorous automated testing (unit, integration, regression) to ensure production-grade code quality.
• Engage in CI/CD pipelines, code reviews, and Agile processes to maintain system reliability and operational excellence.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and Product Managers to deliver solutions aligned with the broader platform architecture.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of full-time software development experience in a product or enterprise environment.
• Deep hands-on experience with Java (or JVM languages), object-oriented design, and concurrent programming.
• Proven experience building scalable RESTful APIs and familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Expert knowledge of RDBMS (advanced SQL, query optimization) and experience with NoSQL databases like Cassandra or MongoDB.
• Practical experience with Docker and basic familiarity with Kubernetes.
• Exposure to distributed processing technologies such as Apache Spark or Kafka.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Generative AI, LLMs, and AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor).
• Awareness of Data Lakehouse concepts and open table formats like Iceberg or Delta Lake.
• Exposure to data integration, data quality, or metadata management.
• Familiarity with hirify.global products or SaaS ecosystem integration.
