What you will do

• Embed security into the end-to-end software delivery lifecycle within AWS environments.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) and cloud automation for scalable platforms.
• Integrate security testing and automation controls into CI/CD pipelines and development workflows.
• Guide the secure development of cloud-native applications, APIs, and backend services using Python, JS, and PHP.
• Identify, triage, and remediate application and platform vulnerabilities in collaboration with engineering teams.
• Collaborate with platform teams to improve monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability practices.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of modern software engineering practices and common application security risks.
• Experience developing cloud-native applications using Python, JavaScript, and/or PHP within AWS.
• Proven track record of integrating security controls into CI/CD pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code and containerized applications in distributed systems.
• Ability to investigate and remediate platform security issues.
• Must have the appropriate right to work in the UK (sponsorship is not provided).
