What you will do

• Design, simulate, and verify RFIC blocks including LNAs, PAs, Mixers, VCOs, PLLs, and frequency synthesizers for wireless standards.
• Perform transistor-level circuit design and optimization for performance, power, and area using Cadence Virtuoso and SpectreRF.
• Conduct pre-layout and post-layout simulations with EM tools like HFSS.
• Collaborate with system architects, digital, and test engineers for specification definition and integration.
• Supervise layout, debug prototypes in the lab, and generate design documentation.
• Stay updated on RFIC design advancements and implement innovative techniques.

Requirements

• Master's or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering with RF/Microwave specialization.
• 5+ years industry experience in RFIC design in CMOS processes.
• Strong RF/microwave fundamentals and analog circuit design knowledge.
• Proficiency in Cadence Virtuoso, SpectreRF, EM simulators (HFSS, Momentum), MATLAB.
• Hands-on experience with RF lab equipment (spectrum/network analyzers, signal generators, oscilloscopes).
• Proven tape-out and characterization of complex RFICs; experience with LNAs, PAs, Mixers, VCOs, PLLs.
• Familiarity with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 5G, UWB standards; excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
