What you will do

• Design SOI switches and associated analog/bias circuits.
• Perform RF device modeling and physics analysis, including noise parameters and inductor modeling.
• Analyze packaging effects, supply isolations, and high-frequency ESD structures to optimize RF performance.
• Utilize Cadence Spectre(RF), GoldenGate, and ADS simulation tools for S-parameter, HB, and envelope analysis.
• Conduct EM simulations using HFSS, Clarity, and EMX.
• Develop layouts using the Cadence flow, ensuring LVS and DRC compliance.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in or be able to work from San Jose, California
• MSEE degree; Ph.D. preferred.
• 12+ years of experience in switch design using the SOI process.
• Deep understanding of RF device modeling, physics, and associated analog/bias circuits.
• Proficiency with Cadence Spectre(RF), GoldenGate, and ADS simulation tools.
• Experience with EM simulation tools (HFSS, Clarity, EMX) and Cadence layout flow (LVS/DRC).
