Product Development & Integration Engineer (UAS/C-UAS): Research, develop, integrate, test, and validate next-generation small uncrewed aircraft systems (sUAS) and counter-UAS (C-UAS) capabilities with an accent on rapid prototyping, system interoperability, and mission-driven design. Location: Salt Lake City, UT. Must be U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident (ITAR/EAR restrictions, no sponsorship). Ability to travel (25%).

What you will do

• Lead development and integration of sUAS and C-UAS systems, translating operational requirements into engineering solutions.
• Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies in autonomy, sensing, and communications.
• Develop and manage product requirements documents (PRDs) and interface control documents (ICDs), defining performance thresholds.
• Lead human-machine interface (HMI) development, optimizing operator workflows and interoperability.
• Design and execute RDT&E activities, integration test plans, and analyze data for system improvements.
• Integrate C-UAS detection, tracking, mitigation with command-and-control systems.
• Develop rapid prototypes using 3D printing and CAD (SolidWorks), iterating through testing cycles.
• Transition validated capabilities to production and support operational deployment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years in UAS, C-UAS, or integration engineering
• Experience with system-level integration and rapid prototyping (3D printing, CAD like SolidWorks)
• Strong communication and technical writing skills
• Ability to travel (25%), operate in field environments, lift up to 25 lbs, work flexible hours
