What you will do

• Contribute to the development, testing, and deployment of system improvements for the Platform 2 ground systems.
• Develop and implement technical solutions for specialized needs, such as weather stations and lifting apparatus for maintenance.
• Evaluate and manage external vendors to source high-availability, low-cost commercially available products.
• Collaborate with engineering and deployment organizations to transform site requirements into deployable systems.
• Define handover materials and processes to transition new application solutions into sustaining operations.

Requirements

• Pursuing a degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or a related field (must have completed the second year of undergraduate studies; Masters and PhD eligible).
• Proficiency in hardware/software troubleshooting, data collection, and analysis.
• Must be able to work in-person at the South San Francisco office.
• Willingness to travel and work outdoors at test sites for hands-on development.
• Strong project management skills and the ability to communicate complex technical info clearly.

Nice to have

• CAD skills.
• Experience reading data sheets, layouts, or schematics.
