What you will do

• Lead team of 6–10 engineers on cross-platform runtime (Windows, macOS, Linux) including custom VMM and container stack.
• Own technical direction, roadmap, and alignment with product goals.
• Ensure predictable delivery, operational excellence, and high engineering standards.
• Hire and retain senior systems engineering talent.
• Facilitate cross-team communication and status reporting.

Requirements

• 5+ years managing high-performing engineering teams
• 5+ years hands-on systems programming (hypervisors, container runtimes, OS internals, kernel)
• Deep virtualization knowledge: VMMs, hypervisors, hardware-assisted.
• Experience with container runtimes (OCI, containerd, runc) or low-level infra.
• Cross-platform experience (2+ of Windows, macOS, Linux).
• Strong communication; comfortable with remote work across time zones

• Experience staying close to customers for trusted internals.
