TL;DR

Senior Solutions Engineer (Observability): Driving technical engagement and product education for the Grafana LGTM stack with an accent on pre-sales, technical evaluations, and customer success. Focus on articulating value propositions, solving complex technical challenges, and creating enablement materials for global customers.

Location: Remote (United States). Ideally located in SoCal or NoCal.

Salary: $204,000 - $254,000 OTE

What you will do

  • Partner with the Sales team to articulate the Grafana value proposition, vision, and strategy to customers.
  • Own technical engagements to close high-velocity opportunities through advanced technical skill and credibility.
  • Deliver product and technical presentations to potential and existing customers.
  • Provide a critical feedback loop between customers and internal Product Management and Engineering teams.
  • Create public and internal enablement materials, including documentation, blog posts, and videos.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of technical pre-sales experience, ideally with Open Source technologies or in the Metrics/Monitoring space.
  • Must be based in the United States (strong preference for SoCal or NoCal areas).
  • First-class written and oral communication skills for collaborating with international teams and worldwide customers.
  • Strong technical mindset with a passion for solving complex challenges creatively.
  • Ability to work and collaborate effectively within a remote-first, global organization.
