What you will do

• Design and maintain power subsystem architecture, budgets, and parametric models for hirify.global missions.
• Perform requirements engineering, EMC analysis, and define validation/verification plans for power systems.
• Act as technical point of contact for avionics/power with stakeholders, customers, and subcontractors.
• Write RFPs, manage subcontractors for power units, and review power aspects of spacecraft equipment.
• Support integration, testing, flight operations, and generate documentation including FMEAs and review materials.
• Contribute to in-house power electronics development for future spacecraft.

Requirements

• BSc/MSc in Power management, Electronics, Aerospace, Physics or similar.
• 5+ years in Power System and Electrical Engineering, with space industry experience in power electronics/subsystems (DC/DC converters, solar arrays, battery management).
• End-to-end mission experience as Avionics engineer, including design, analysis, and implementation to launch.
• Knowledge of program lifecycles and participation in formal reviews (MDR, PDR, CDR).
• Strong communication, analytical skills, and ability to collaborate across teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with avionics/spacecraft electrical systems beyond power.
• Detailed power electronics analysis, design, build, test, and fault diagnosis.
• Understanding of actuator/motor drive electronics.
• Hands-on electronics design and test experience.
• Familiarity with space standards (ECSS, MIL).
