Senior Reliability Engineer

Senior Reliability Engineer (Aerospace): Provide technical leadership for reliability and safety engineering activities across complex aerospace development programs with an accent on system-level analyses, predictions, and guarantees. What you will do

• Lead system-level reliability and safety analyses, integrating inputs from teams and partners for certification and program execution.
• Develop and execute reliability predictions, analytical models, and guarantees to quantify risks and inform strategies.
• Perform analyses including FMECA, FTA, PLOC, SHA, CMA, PoF, and BIT coverage.
• Act as reliability lead on programs with complex hardware like motor controls and actuation systems.
• Recommend strategies for requirements compliance and define reliability test approaches.
• Support proposals, mentoring, and engagement with customers and authorities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Aerospace Engineering
• 5+ years in Reliability Engineering for safety-critical systems
• Demonstrated experience leading system-level reliability and safety analyses
• Strong knowledge of reliability modeling, predictions, and statistical techniques
• Ability to work independently, lead decisions, and collaborate across teams
• Strong communication for presenting to stakeholders

Nice to have

• Experience in aerospace or regulated safety-critical industries
• Familiarity with reliability growth, warranty modeling, and availability contracts
• Background in proposals, negotiations, or performance-guaranteed programs
• Mentoring or technical leadership experience
