What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain Go-based backend APIs for Edge Gateway, ensuring communication with Edge Wireless Network Controllers and Edge Motor Controllers.
• Implement RESTful APIs, authentication/authorization, and secure protocols like TLS, SSH, and encryption.
• Build services for real-time data ingestion, processing, and storage with high throughput and fault tolerance.
• Collaborate with hardware/firmware teams to integrate IoT edge devices into cloud services.
• Debug distributed systems, implement logging/monitoring/tracing (Jaeger, Prometheus), and improve CI/CD with Docker/Kubernetes.
• Mentor juniors, lead API design, and enforce engineering best practices in Agile processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 6+ years of backend software development experience.
• Strong expertise in Go; proficiency with SQL and modern databases (PostgreSQL, TimescaleDB, InfluxDB, Redis).
• Solid understanding of algorithms, data structures, distributed systems, REST API design, OAuth2/JWT, secure protocols.
• Hands-on with Linux, Docker, Git, networking (TCP/IP, HTTP, MQTT, RabbitMQ).
• Fluency in English for collaboration across globally distributed teams.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering.
• Experience in IoT, industrial automation, energy/solar systems, cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Knowledge of time-series databases, data pipelines, stream processing, Go concurrency, C/C++, Python.
• Familiarity with Prometheus, Grafana, Jaeger, Jira, Confluence.
