Sr. Technical Product Manager (Solar PV)

Location: Huangpu, Shanghai, China; based in the Shanghai office

Develops intelligent solar tracking systems, PV module frames, and integrated structural, electrical, and digital solutions for utility-scale solar power plants.

What you will do

• Meet with customer R&D teams to understand module qualification processes and support qualification of products using company components.
• Communicate program status and customer requirements to the U.S. development team and other international teams.
• Investigate and resolve technical issues affecting product qualification.
• Manage program schedules and ensure product qualifications are completed according to plan.
• Coordinate work with third-party laboratories, including scopes of work, test materials, and report reviews.
• Prepare product improvement plans focused on cost reduction and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a similar discipline.
• 5+ years of technical experience with PV modules.
• Knowledge of module testing and IEC compliance for PV modules and other solar equipment.
• Experience managing programs with teams across different countries and willingness to travel globally.
• Experience resolving field issues, performing root cause analysis, and designing mitigations.
• Professional-level English proficiency and ability to work from the Shanghai office.
