What you will do

• Define the Facility Operations strategy, including SLAs, incident management, and reporting methods.
• Oversee third-party deployment, commissioning, and maintenance of switch gear, cooling systems, and air handlers.
• Establish standards for monitoring data center systems to minimize risk and manage incidents effectively.
• Develop innovative approaches to improve time to market and equipment availability while reducing costs.
• Optimize bill of materials, logistics, and physical processes to enable operation scale-out.
• Manage strategic partner relationships to ensure alignment with company goals.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in data center facility operations as a manager, engineer, or technical lead.
• Proven track record of overseeing portfolios of mission-critical systems.
• Subject matter expertise in deployment, commissioning, and maintenance process development.
• Experience in third-party partner relationship management.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to have

• 15+ years of experience managing large-scale data center operations.
• Understanding of AI/ML workloads, specifically regarding power, cooling, and network connectivity.
• Experience with rear door heat exchangers and cooling distribution units.
• Experience managing colo operators and contract staffing vendors.
• Familiarity with commissioning plans and hand-over reviews.
