What you will do

• Lead and evolve the UX vision and strategy for the digital product portfolio to align with business priorities and clinical outcomes.
• Build, mentor, and scale a UX organization consisting of designers and researchers, including defining team structure and hiring plans.
• Manage the UX operating budget and coordinate with external vendor/agency partners to ensure delivery quality.
• Translate clinical insights and stakeholder requirements into intuitive interaction models, user journeys, and design specifications.
• Establish UX processes, documentation standards, and enterprise-level design systems across the digital ecosystem.
• Integrate AI-assisted design and prototyping techniques to accelerate exploration while maintaining clinical safety and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience designing complex digital product experiences (8+ years with a Master's degree).
• 7+ years of managerial experience leading and scaling a UX organization.
• Extensive experience in MedTech or other highly regulated environments.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, HCI, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven track record of managing UX delivery through both internal teams and external partners.
• Portfolio demonstrating end-to-end UX leadership and complex system design.

Nice to have

• Experience designing clinician-facing software or workflow-heavy applications.
• Familiarity with Software as a Medical Device (SaMD), EHR workflows, or AI applications in healthcare.
• Experience with cloud-based ecosystems and data-rich clinical applications.
• Deep understanding of regulatory, safety, and risk management in digital health.
