What you will do

• Lead the delivery of brownfield rehabilitation projects, including turbine overhauls and control system upgrades.
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using MS Project or Primavera P6 to manage critical paths and resources.
• Manage project P&L, budget forecasting, and cost control to ensure target margins.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for utility owners, subcontractors, and internal engineering teams.
• Enforce rigorous HSE standards and quality assurance protocols at project sites.
• Identify technical and commercial risks early and implement robust mitigation strategies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business and/or Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering.
• Project management experience within the power generation sector, specifically focused on hydropower service or rehabilitation.
• Deep understanding of hydropower components such as turbines, governors, and excitation systems.
• Proficiency in managing complex site installation and equipment-only contracts.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in a matrix environment across multiple time zones.
• Must be based in Charlotte, NC, US

Nice to have

• Active PMP (Project Management Professional) certification.
• Experience working directly for a hydropower Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM).
• Fluency in ERP systems such as SAP or Contruent.
• Willingness to travel to remote project sites (approx. 15–25%).
