SFDC QA Automation Engineer

Location: Hybrid with an expectation to work 2 days per week from an HPE office.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts in Salesforce environments.
• Partner with business users, developers, and product managers to translate requirements into test strategies and cases.
• Ensure compliance with QA standards, automation best practices, and deployment processes.
• Participate in test planning, design reviews, debugging, and Agile ceremonies.
• Identify, document, and resolve defects in manual and automated testing.
• Build relationships across cross-functional teams to influence quality and timelines.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.
• 5+ years of QA experience with at least 3+ years in test automation (preferably Salesforce); 7+ years without degree.
• Hands-on experience with automated testing frameworks (Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, Provar).
• Familiarity with Salesforce platform (Lightning Experience, workflows, triggers, APIs).
• Experience validating Salesforce integrations (SOAP, REST, middleware).
• Strong analytical, debugging, and communication skills; Agile/Scrum, CI/CD, Git experience.

Nice to have

• Salesforce QA background with Service Cloud or other modules.
• Salesforce Administrator or QA Automation certification.
