O&M Reliability Manager

TL;DR

O&M Reliability Manager (Energy-from-Waste): Provide independent operational oversight, conducting plant audits, inspections, and reviews across global facilities with an accent on asset integrity, maintenance assurance, and continuous improvement. Location: Based in the UK on a remote or hybrid basis with international travel required

What you will do

• Conduct independent audits, inspections, and operational reviews across O&M facilities, producing reports and improvement plans.
• Ensure compliance with legal, corporate, and industry standards while promoting safety and continuous improvement culture.
• Review plant performance, maintenance standards, and reliability trends to optimise assets and support predictive maintenance.
• Develop and implement reliability programmes across EfW, Biomass, Renewable Gas, and process plants.
• Support incident investigations, behavioural safety initiatives, and cross-site learning with reporting to senior leadership.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Process, Environmental Engineering, or Business Management
• Minimum 5 years in O&M for power generation, Energy-from-Waste, Biomass, Biogas/AD, or process industries
• Strong understanding of boiler systems, steam cycles, rotating equipment, utilities, and process operations
• Experience in multi-site and international industrial environments
• Proven background in operations, maintenance, reliability, asset integrity, or operational assurance
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder skills; knowledge of CMMS, DCS/SCADA, MS Office
• Willingness to travel internationally
