What you will do
- Lead the overall management of the REnew Pacific project portfolio and partnerships across the Pacific.
- Identify and pursue a pipeline of new partnership and project opportunities via networks and scoping missions.
- Review and evaluate off-grid renewable grant proposals for technical soundness, feasibility, and alignment with strategic goals.
- Oversee grant project development and implementation, ensuring quality assurance and meeting client deliverable requirements.
- Establish and maintain relationships with partner governments, donors, and providers of technical renewable energy solutions.
- Provide guidance and advice to in-country Portfolio Managers and coordination staff.
Requirements
- Degree in engineering, science, energy systems, international development, or environmental/natural resource management.
- Professional experience in international development, specifically working with Pacific Island Countries.
- Demonstrated knowledge of off-grid renewable energy projects and systems.
- Experience with Australian Government/DFAT-funded or other donor-funded programs.
- Proven leadership in project portfolio management and partnerships.
- Must have valid right to work in the country where based; sponsorship is not available.
