What you will do

• Administer enterprise backup and restore solutions across on-premises and virtual environments to ensure reliable data protection.
• Implement and manage disaster recovery solutions, including data replication and failover procedures.
• Monitor daily backup jobs for cloud services and container platforms, performing troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
• Optimize backup infrastructure capacity and apply necessary updates and security patches.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Provide 2nd-level support for recovery issues and coordinate with vendor engineers for complex problem resolution.

Requirements

• Practical experience implementing and managing enterprise backup/restore and DR tools in large IT environments.
• Solid understanding of virtualization platforms (VMware) and storage systems integration.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 backups and container platforms such as OpenShift.
• Knowledge of data replication technologies, specifically Zerto.
• Experience working within ITIL-based processes (change and incident management) and ticketing systems.
• Ability to produce clear technical documentation and follow established DR procedures.
