Salary: £60,000 - £75,000 per annum

What you will do

• Review and assess existing systems to identify opportunities for improved performance, reliability, and efficiency.
• Support the design and implementation of infrastructure solutions and technical best practices.
• Manage the lifecycle and maintenance of core infrastructure, including systems, storage, and platforms.
• Investigate and resolve complex technical incidents and problems, coordinating with third parties when necessary.
• Maintain clear and up-to-date technical documentation across all systems and services.
• Ensure all systems are maintained according to security and organizational standards and SLAs.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a Senior Infrastructure Engineer or similar role.
• Strong expertise in enterprise virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V, Azure).
• Good working knowledge of Azure networking, compute, and storage.
• Proficiency in Windows Server and core Microsoft technologies (Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, IIS, RDS).
• Experience with storage, backup, and disaster recovery solutions (SAN/NAS, Veeam, Commvault, Zerto).
• Location: Must be able to work hybrid in Leeds (3 days per week in office).

Nice to have

• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, Cisco, Meraki).
• Familiarity with monitoring, security, and patching tools (PRTG, Tenable, WSUS, AV/DLP).
• Experience with server hardware and datacentre environments (HP/Dell, VxRail).
• Scripting or automation experience using PowerShell.
