What you will do

• Answer calls at the Health and Safety Call Center for humans and animals.
• Obtain demographic data and document adverse events and information calls.
• Provide appropriate first-aid information based on client specs without diagnostics or treatment advice.
• Escalate calls to staff or toxicologist per guidelines and follow up with callers.
• Discuss health concerns with consumers, workers, and professionals.
• Monitor trends in new products or issues and stay current on education requirements.

Requirements

• EMT, Paramedic, Veterinary Technician, equivalent, or student towards advanced medical degree.
• Basic computer and keyboarding skills.
• Professional telephone etiquette, active listening, pleasant voice.
• Ability to translate complex medical info to consumers and professionals.
• Strong communication, organization, prioritization, and attention to detail.
• Work independently and in a team; rotating second shift (US), weekends, holidays.
