What you will do

• Own end-to-end accounting for assigned entities and the general ledger.
• Lead month-end close processes, including trial balance preparation and journal entries.
• Coordinate complex bank, balance sheet, and intercompany reconciliations.
• Drive process improvement and automation projects within Record-to-Report.
• Serve as the primary contact for audit requests and ensure internal control compliance.
• Coach and review the work of junior team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 7+ years of experience in financial accounting or Record-to-Report.
• Proven expertise in double-entry bookkeeping and trial balance preparation.
• Advanced Excel skills for managing large datasets.
• English: Strong command required.
• Location: Must be based in Amsterdam.

Nice to have

• Dutch language skills.
• Experience with Exact or similar ERP systems.
• Working knowledge of SQL for data extraction and validation.
