System Integration Engineer - ATM (Air Traffic Management)

What you will do

• Contribute to the tender, execution, and delivery phases of Air Traffic Management projects.
• Map customer requirements to system solutions and develop requirements specifications.
• Prepare interface specifications, system design documents, acceptance test documents, and parameterisation descriptions.
• Deploy, configure, integrate, and test ATM software and parameterisation in factory and on-site environments.
• Coordinate with product developers, internal project teams, support teams, and customers on integration, defect prioritisation, and validation.
• Apply system engineering, quality, safety, environmental, cost, and schedule requirements.

Requirements

• Degree in software engineering or computer science with suitable recent software experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in the ATM domain, including system integration.
• Knowledge of networks, network security, XML, Linux, virtualisation technologies, and software testing and validation.
• Experience with requirements management, system design, integration, testing, validation, and high-level requirements derivation.
• Strong technical writing, communication, problem-solving, organisation, and time-management skills.
• Australian citizenship is required, along with eligibility to obtain an Australian Defence Security Clearance, preferably at baseline level.

Nice to have

• Experience in the Air Traffic Management domain.
• Eligibility for chartered engineering status and state engineering registration in Queensland or Victoria.
