What you will do

• Define and maintain Software Update Management System (SUMS) processes across the full product and vehicle lifecycle.
• Translate regulatory requirements into practical, clear, and auditable ways of working.
• Support engineering, compliance, governance, and project teams in implementing SUMS processes.
• Define roles, KPIs, governance structures, and process interfaces.
• Support audits, reviews, corrective actions, and continuous improvement based on findings and new requirements.

Requirements

• Senior-level experience in process development, system engineering, or automotive software.
• Understanding of regulated product development and the ability to translate requirements into clear processes.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of complex topics.
• Ability to work in Södertälje, Sweden, under a hybrid arrangement.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of UNECE R156, ISO 24089, or similar standards.
• Experience with SUMS, CSMS, or regulatory compliance.
• Understanding of embedded software, OTA updates, or ECU systems.
• Experience with audits, quality management systems, automotive, or another regulated industry.
