Principal Electrical Engineer (Medtech): Leading the electrical engineering aspects of a new hardware platform for a next-generation Renal Denervation RF ablation generator with an accent on systems development, characterization, and integration testing. Focus on driving disciplined execution, risk management, and quality compliance across the full product lifecycle.
Location: Onsite in Mounds View, MN. Working a minimum of 4 days a week onsite is required.
Salary: $134,400.00 - $201,600.00 USD

What you will do
- Serve as the principal technical authority for electrical engineering within the RF generator workstream.
- Lead end-to-end electrical engineering activities across concept, architecture, design, fabrication, and validation.
- Own the electrical systems development and characterization for a next-generation RF ablation generator.
- Act as project execution lead and scrum master for electrical engineering workstreams.
- Lead system and electrical risk management activities, including FMEAs and hazard analyses.
- Provide technical guidance, coaching, and mentorship to engineers across the organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in electromechanical systems or capital equipment (or 5 years with Master's, 3 years with PhD).
- Proven experience in hardware and software integration.
- Must possess unrestricted U.S. work authorization.
Nice to have
- Experience with IEC 60601-1 and ISO 14971 standards.
- Knowledge of RF Energy delivery, SOMs, and FPGA.
- Experience with product concept development and systems engineering.
