What you will do

• Lead the team building "paved paths" to enable engineering squads to develop secure and reliable services.
• Own the technical roadmap for observability, incident management, cloud/network security, and infrastructure vulnerabilities.
• Establish and maintain high engineering standards, including encryption at rest/transit and multi-region DR/BCP execution.
• Collaborate with Security and product leadership to design foundational and reusable systems and architecture.
• Act as a player-coach, providing technical leadership and mentorship to senior, middle, and junior engineers.
• Drive reliability and security outcomes focusing on alert hygiene, MTTR, and DORA metrics.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in DevSecOps and 2+ years in a lead or staff engineer role.
• Proven expertise in platform operations, including defining SLIs/SLOs and authoring incident response playbooks.
• Deep technical experience securing Kubernetes clusters and implementing network policies for cell-based architectures.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, multi-region Disaster Recovery, and Business Continuity Planning.
• Proficiency with SAST/DAST, CI/CD pipelines, and security tooling (e.g., GitHub, GitLab, Jenkins, Snyk).
• Strong knowledge of authentication/authorization platforms, CIAM, OAuth2, and OpenID.
