What you will do

• Improve production reliability and system resilience within an SRE scoped team.
• Champion high standards of work and industry best practices across the organization.
• Engage with stakeholders for requirements analysis and technical demonstrations.
• Participate in on-call rotations, incident response, and blameless post-incident reviews.
• Develop tools and write code to reduce toil and prevent problem recurrence.
• Operate and optimize a production observability stack including metrics, logs, and traces.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience administering Linux systems in production environments.
• Strong fundamentals in Kubernetes and the broader cloud-native ecosystem.
• Proven experience with cloud infrastructure, with a strong preference for AWS.
• Proficiency in Bash, and either Python or Go.
• Experience with Terraform for Infrastructure-as-Code and GitHub for CI/CD.
• Must be located in Australia (Brisbane, Melbourne, or Sydney).

Nice to have

• Experience with bare-metal infrastructure.
• Database experience with Postgres, Cassandra, or ClickHouse.
