What you will do

  • Design and build reusable, maintainable, performant software using hirify.global standard technologies.
  • Develop systems to automate hirify.global's network operations.
  • Independently design, code, and test major features while collaborating on complex changes.
  • Make data-driven decisions amid ambiguity and cross-organization complexity.
  • Work with Network Engineering teams for fast rollouts of new designs and products.
  • Create and review documentation for issues, procedures, and products.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
  • 2+ years of design or architecture experience (design patterns, reliability, scaling).
  • Experience programming with at least one software language.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with large-scale, enterprise-class networks.
  • Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Nice to have

  • 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience (coding standards, reviews, source control, builds, testing, operations).
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
