What you will do

• Design and build scalable features using modern frontend frameworks and backend services.
• Own key features end-to-end, from data modeling to user-facing interfaces.
• Drive the technical roadmap for the Experiences pod and implement engineering best practices.
• Collaborate with product, design, and data teams for iterative feature growth.
• Write maintainable, high-performance code with a focus on developer experience.
• Mentor other engineers to elevate the overall technical execution of the team.

Requirements

• 5–7+ years of experience shipping production-quality fullstack software.
• Proficiency in a modern backend language (Go, Python, C#, or Java).
• Strong experience with React, Next.js, or other modern frontend frameworks (Svelte is used internally).
• Deep understanding of web architecture, API design, and Relational/NoSQL databases.
• Experience with AWS/GCP, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Must be based in the US (New York preferred for hybrid).

Nice to have

• Experience building consumer-focused SaaS applications.
• Experience with form-based, dynamic applications featuring rich user-generated content.
