What you will do

• Create clear, compelling, and compliant copy for digital, campaign, product, and marketing channels.
• Simplify complex technical insurance subject matter for general audiences.
• Edit and proofread content for grammar, syntax, and adherence to AP style and brand voice.
• Ensure all materials meet strict regulatory, legal, and compliance standards.
• Fact-check claims, statistics, and product details.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and incorporate feedback from legal reviews.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience as a Copywriter and/or Copy Editor.
• Native-level English or certified C2 proficiency.
• Ability to work in the US timezone.
• Proven experience in client-facing roles within an agency environment.
• Expertise in AP style and working within compliance-driven, regulated industries.
• Proficiency with MS Office, Google Workspace, and PM tools (Asana, Monday, Workfront).

Nice to have

• Direct experience in insurance, financial services, or healthcare.
• Background in UX writing or SEO-driven content strategy.
• Copy editing certification (ACES, EFA, or equivalent).
