Compensation: $45/hr (W2) or $60/hr (C2C)

What you will do
- Develop clear, compelling, and compliant copy across digital, campaign, product, and marketing channels.
- Translate complex or technical insurance subject matter into accessible, customer-friendly language.
- Serve as the quality gatekeeper, editing and proofreading materials for grammar, syntax, and brand consistency.
- Ensure strict adherence to regulatory, legal, and compliance standards in a highly regulated industry.
- Fact-check claims, disclosures, statistics, and product details.
- Partner with editors and compliance stakeholders to refine content and implement feedback efficiently.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience as a Copywriter and/or Copy Editor.
- Must be based in the United States.
- Ability to work in the US timezone.
- Proven ability to work autonomously in a client-facing role within an agency environment.
- Expert command of grammar and AP style.
- Comfort working in compliance-driven and regulated environments.
Nice to have
- Direct experience in insurance, financial services, or healthcare.
- Background in UX writing, digital product content, or SEO-driven copy.
- Copy editing certification (ACES, EFA, or equivalent).
